Cavity InsulationCavity Fill Insulation is great for older homes. The foam insulation fills up space in walls that need R-Value upgrades. We use Tripolymer® Injection Foam Insulation for Cavity Insulation. Tripolymer® is the leading soft foam insulation and air barrier system. It minimizes air leakage for increased energy efficiency, has a R-VALUE of 5.1 per inch, maintains its performance over time with no loss of R-VALUE, and does not shrink, sag, or settle. It bonds to most construction materials and is the perfect insulation for filling cavities in walls and attics. Cavity Insulation is NOT the same product as Urea Formaldehyde Foam that was used in the 1970's and 1980's. We use a completely different insulation product that is completely safe and does not release any harmful fumes. Cavity Insulation is a high density foam that is injected into cavities in stud walls through a drilled hole from the outside. It adheres tightly, fills openings, and eliminates air infiltration. Tripolymer Injection Foam Insulation helps prevent bugs and rodents from living in walls. Tripolymer foam fills the cavities where animals and bugs nest and removes the cool hiding spots.
